How to increase or decrease the frame length in 3dsmax

1)Click the button "Time Configuration" on the bottom right hand side. It is isplayed as a frame with clock on it. If the mouse cursor is placed on it, it displays the name "Time Configuration".



2)Then a pop up appears like this.

3)The default Start time frame and end time frame is 0 to 100 respectively. And the length is 100. It means only animation frames from 0 to 100 is diaplyed. To increase the frame length from 0 to 200, type 200 in the text field next to Length. Now automatically the end frame changes 200. This can also be achieved by enter 200 directly into the end time text field. Press "OK" to save the time configuration.

4)This can also be done with out going to the time configuration. Hold down the keys "Alt" and "Ctrl" and move the mouse button over the animation frames, hold the right mouse button and move the mouse left side to increases the end frame or move the mouse right to decrease the end frame..



5)To change the start frame hold down the keys "Alt" and "Ctrl" and move the mouse button over the animation frames, hold the left mouse button and move the mouse left side to increases the start frame or move the mouse right to decrease the start frame.




6)To change the start frame and for the constant frame length, hold down the keys "Alt" and "Ctrl" and move the mouse button over the animation frames, hold the middle mouse button and move the mouse left side to increase the first frame and the last frame. Move the mouse right to decrease the first frame and the last frame. If the frame length is 100 it won't change, only the first frame and the end frame changes.
